First and foremost, welcome! I'm honored you are here.
Let’s be honest - before I started birth work, I didn’t know where a uterus was or that a placenta even existed. (Am I allowed to say that?) What I did know was that I love connecting with people and caring for the hearts of those around me. I love connecting people with their purpose, growing in confidence and understanding of their ability to do and be something great in this world. I discovered that the doula role is just that:
a tangible expression of serving, loving, and supporting expecting families.
Birthing reveals what’s always been true of oneself: strength, empowerment, and hope. There are one-of-a-kind opportunities woven in birth for families to be empowered and deeply bonded.
I am a certified birth doula through DONA International and certified birth photographer through Birth Becomes You. Most of all, I am a wife and mama to three kids!
So if you find yourself here, thank you so much for taking the time to read thus far! I hope getting to know me will assist you in your doula & photographer search!

I want to address the reality that safety is more than physical – it is emotional, mental, and spiritual.
My aim is to be a safe haven – where you are seen with utmost value, respect, and dignity. I will hold one’s humanity, or imago dei, in high regard no matter your ethnicity, race, socioeconomic status, spirituality, political beliefs, or your past.
I will not tolerate or participate in behavior toward my clients, myself, or groups that are shaming, oppressive, demeaning, or lacking compassion in one’s experience.
I also hold myself accountable to continuous learning and mindfulness to mature in my care and harm prevention.
In what harm I do create or participate in, whether known or unknown, I hold myself to a standard of hearing, acknowledging, reflecting, and repairing in such moments.
